Thanksgiving breakage

This is awesome. For the second Friday in a row, I was hanging out with my best friends hanging out, drinking, playing cards, board games, whatever we could find to keep us occupied until the early morning hours. Up until recently, I've been discouraged by the fact that people will come and go in your life so for the past couple of years, I've done my best to not make strong friendships with people. Doesn't that sound strange? I mean I know I'm not the life of the party, but I do enjoy being around people.

Example, I had a lot of friends growing up. A LOT. I've typed out this sentence before, but a lot of them are people that I was close to and now it's been years since I've seen them. Well just last night I was talking with a good friend of mine and we decided that this has to stop. We're all still friends for sure. If we make plans, we're going to see to it that they go through and not fizzle-out. We are all turning 21 this year. About 20 of us, if not more.

They say that high-school is the best four years of your life. Up until now, I agreed with that sentiment, but now I feel like the best four years of my life are the next four right ahead of me. I know I'm going to see some old friends again, and hopefully the lasting distance that's been between will only make all of our friendships stronger.

This blog reeks of cheesiness.

yes, I was THAT guy.

This has probably been one of the best fall seasons I've experienced in half a decade or so. Nothing is perfect, but I'll take away all of the memories and think to myself "I've had it good." I'm just trying to keep the glass half-full. The bar has been raised, so let's see what happens next.
